LA LA LAND staring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, Directed by Damien Chazelle is not merely a movie but a lot more beyond that. It's an experience of emotions. A beautiful inclusion of fantasy world into reality. It's the story of Sebastian and Mia. Sebastian has this passion for Jazz and wishes to have his own club that would serve its customers with pure form of Jazz. Mia, on the other hand is an aspiring actress who gives thousands of auditions and gets rejected in every audition.
There are thousands of romantic movies that came and go but this film surely have this wow factor that has touched our hearts.
First thing First, the music of the film is itself a feast to our ears. The songs are not only melodious but meaningful as well. Each line of every song directly touches our heart. Be it "City of Stars" or "Fools who dream", its totally impossible for us to escape from the magic it creates on our souls. These songs should be declared as official nourishment to your souls.
Dialogues are equally impactful as well, from "Pheonix rising from the ashes" to "Maybe I'm one of those people that has always wanted to do this, But its like a pipe dream for me you know!", every dialogue tells a story that somewhere in deep belongs to us. That's the beauty of the dialogues. They are extremely real yet glamorised.

Taking about Gosling and Stone, They both have done wonders in the film. The acting of both is so real that we deeply find ourselves in them. Gosling, apart from looking so handsome, has successfully managed to portray the character of a man who is full of emotions but unable to pop it out. He plans surprises but ends up screwing them all by himself. he loves but can't stop her from going away. The agony of his character is so deep, there is a scene when he goes to her place to surprise her but they end up arguing and he says," This is the dream! You change your dreams when you grow up!"  He himself knows that this is not what he wanted to do yet pretends to act content. And these little things has separated LA LA Land from other romantic films. Every dialogue and expression in the film is so fine that even if you watch this film, say hundred times, you won't feel not interested.
Taking about Stone, she has nailed it like anything. Be it the sighs of disappointment or the smiling beneath the tears, each and every emotion is presented by her so gracefully that I completely fell in love with MIA. The Oscars is completely justified for her splendid performance.
Now, coming to the best part of the film, the LA LA LAND part, where they step into their dream world of love in their imagination, where everything is so perfect and  they are together in their life journey. This part takes you to your own world of fantasies. This is exactly we humans crave for. This is how it should be! And all these scenes are shown so beautifully that you actually allow yourself to unshackle all the reality boundations and fly to their world, the shots of her getting pregnant and they, resolving their career issues together and forming a small family are something that totally melt our hearts. And when the imagination gets over and they are not together, we just realise how cruel the reality is! we break down along with them.
That's the beauty of the direction.
And last but not the least, That smile, The last smile they give to each other was something really painful yet satisfactory. They both became what they wanted to become in their lives but they couldn't be together. This is something very sad but you know this is reality and it happens.
This makes the movie a perfect inclusion of fantasy into the reality.
This movie is an experience, a roller coaster of emotions and deserved to be watched again and again.
